Nina Braun

Nina Braun's knitted works are just incredible! From realistic recreations of sneakers to the adorable sleepy worms tied up in a Celtic knot, it's creative knitting at its best.

To knit next: green cardigan

Next project decided: Rather than wing it and try to create my dream cardigan from scratch (I simply don't have the brainpower at the moment), I'm going to use one of these two patterns (though I'm sure, being me, I'll add some mods along the way).

February Lady by Pamela Wynne on Ravelry - this has the pros of being free and based on the work of my idol Elizabeth Zimmermann. I like how it's solid along the raglan increases then turns into lace for the swingy bottom half.

Lisel by Ysolda. Love that wavy lace pattern and the fact that it's chunky yet delicate, the perfect weight for the weird weather we're having lately.

New craft site; Leah Sutton

Firstly, my craft site is back up with a new layout. I can't believe it took me so long to get round to doing it, it looks (and works) so much better now!

Secondly, I found one of my favourite knitwear designers, Leah Sutton, has an etsy store too! I love Leah's designs for Rowan, they're really unique and modern but wearable, too. As soon as I get paid I'm going to buy a knitted bangle from her shop.

(On a related note, my own etsy store has some new items too..!)

craft site in progress

Look, I'm actually updating my craft site! It's still in progress but everything will be revamped including the knitting section. If you have any suggestions please feel free to mail me.

Downtime

Sorry to anyone trying to access the patterns from my craft site at the moment - my hosting ran out without me realising! Should be back up and running soon.

I'm also going to finally add erratas to the Buttony Sweater and Razor Cami patterns. If you'd like to help out by sending me your corrections/suggestions, please do so (I'm a terrible proof-reader; since I don't use patterns I'm not too good at writing them!). Thanks!
