nothing to see here

my knitting output for the past month has been 3 inches of ribbing on 3mm needles. hopefully it will one day become the cardigan i have envisaged in my head but i just don't have the time to progress any further at the moment. kind of understandable since i'm in the last two months of my degree, but frustrating nonetheless. i yearn for an FO!

i have two less demanding things on the to-knit list though: the slipper boots from the latest simply knitting magazine for my sister's birthday (april 6th) and something for mothers' day in two weeks - not sure what yet but i hope to use some yarn from my stash, so suggestions for little things in jaeger luxury tweed, kid classic, db maya or dark green tweedy aran wool, please? it's a shame my mum isn't into scarves, hat or shawls!
